Paul "Sam" Garry Shaw

It is with great sadness we share that Paul “Sam” Shaw passed away on Mar 22, 2024, at the age of 53 years.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents; Garry and Gerrie Shaw of Simcoe, ONT, his children; Landon and Jynessa Shaw with their mom, Teri England of Medicine Hat, AB and his daughter Courtney McClean with her mom, Karla McClean-Daubs and grandchildren; Evan and Ireland McClean of Calgary, AB as well as many great friends.

Paul spent his childhood in Simcoe, ONT, moving out West in his late teens. He spent many years playing billiards both recreationally and competitively.

He enjoyed the great outdoors, he loved to go camping and spending time around a fire with his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing, and he’d spend hours on end fishing out on his kayak or sitting in his lawn chair from the shore.

He was a very creative guy and it showed in his work as a tile setter; he was with Design Flooring for almost 20 years. He loved his music and always had it blasting as he was tinkering in his garage being a ‘jack of all trades’.

There will be a Celebration of Life Come and Go for Paul at a later date.
